Lida’s Reading List

I’d heard good things about Rhys Bowen books from my Sleuths & Sidekicks sisters, so I decided to read one. It’s been a long time since I read over 300 pages in one sitting! I enjoyed it that much. I also read more mysteries and books supposedly meant for kids.

Jen’s Reading List

This month I read books with incredible world building. By and large they took me outside my typical English country village comfort reading (except for The Red House Mystery, which is a joy through and through) and I loved them all.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab (in progress)

Tina’s Reading List

My reading this month has mostly been in preparation for Murderous March. I moderated a Young Sleuths panel and you will see an asterisk next to those books – every one of those books was wonderful and thought provoking. As icing on the cake, I had the pleasure, along with Carol Pouliot, of interviewing our Guest of Honor Deborah Crombie, so I have been reading and re-reading her Duncan Kincaid and Gemma James series. They get better and better as the series progresses.

The Metropolitans by Carol Goodman*
Blythewood by Carol Goodman*
Holly Hernandez and the Death of Disco by Richie Narvaez*
I Play One on TV by Alan Orloff*
Murder is Bad Manners (A Murder Most Unladylike Mystery) by Robin Stevens*
