Lida’s Reading List

Sometimes, I just want chewing gum for my mind. Something that requires little thought, but still keeps me wanting to turn the page. I got that in reading the romance picks this month. But I can’t let a month go by without diving into a few mysteries as well!

The Ambrose Deception by Emily Ecton
The Wedding Ranch by Nancy Naigle
Sunrise Cabin by Stacey Donovan

Aggie Morton Mystery Queen, The Body Under the Piano by Marthe Jocelyn
The Last Thing He Told Me  by Laura Dave

Carol’s Reading List

Even though my books are time-travel mysteries, I normally don’t read much time travel. It’s the mysteries that draw me in. But, a friend recommended The Chronicles of St. Mary’s and I could not put the first one down! A combination of adventure, mystery, murder, history, time travel, romance, and humor, this series is wonderful. You can see I read them all.

Jen’s Reading List

My list feels a little light this month, I think because much of the time I usually spend listening to audiobooks was devoted to a fascinating series of podcasts about looting, museums, collectors, and how much more complicated the situation is than it first appears.

Tina’s Reading List

This month’s reading has been curtailed by my move back up north for the summer. It sounds like it’s just a few days of driving, but anyone who lives in two places knows that it requires at least a week of errands, house cleaning and packing, then a three day drive before a week of unpacking and settling back in at home. I did work my way through most of the anthologies that I started last month and kept reading in a couple of series. And, as always, a little bit of Japan.

The Nature of Kyoto: Writers in Kyoto Anthology edited by Lisa Twaronite Sone & Robert Weis
Malice Domestic Mystery Most Traditional: Anthology #17 edited by Verena Rose, Rita Owen & Shawn Reilly Simmons
The Raven Thief by Gigi Pandian (Gigi joined us on June 20th for our Live Book Club: Reading with Writers)
