Lida’s Reading List

For the first time ever, I read a Valentine’s Day romance, which was surprisingly enjoyable! I spent the rest of my reading time mixing it up with a picture book, middle grade, a thriller, and mysteries, of course.

Carol’s Reading List

I read a nice mix of spy thrillers and British murder mysteries this month—both genres are favorites of mine. I’m going to read more of these authors in the coming weeks as well.

Istanbul Passage by Joseph Kanon
Defectors by Joseph Kanon
The Prodigal Spy by Joseph Kanon
Children of the Revolution by Peter Robinson
In the Dark Places by Peter Robinson
The President Is Missing by Bill Clinton and James Patterson
The President’s Daughter by Bill Clinton and James Patterson
State of Terror by Hillary Clinton and Louise Penny
The Rising Tide (Vera Stanhope, Book #10) by Ann Cleeves

Jen’s Reading List

My reading this month was driven by other people – books that I received as gifts, books for book clubs (Sleuths & Sidekicks and others), and books that I read with my children. I love that my 7 and 12year-olds still let me read to them, and I’ve discovered a new delight: reading books my seventh grader is reading for school. They aren’t ones I would normally pick up and I’m loving having my horizons expanded, as well as having things to talk with him about. Can you guess which books fall into each category?

Tina’s Reading List

My reading this month has been curtailed by co-chairing the Murderous March Conference. All my available time has been spent wrapping up the fine details. The reading I did served two purposes, preparing to moderate a panel at the conference and immersing myself in Japanese culture since I am in the process of writing a book which takes place in Japan. I have read some beautiful and diverse books this month from Victorian adventures to Japanese off-the-grid living.
