Lida’s Reading List

I had the pleasure of sitting in a booth at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival with T. Jefferson Parker. As I heard him describe his latest book, which centers around a rescue dog, I knew I had to read it. I’m glad I did. Add a couple of other mysteries, a picture book plus two romance novels and I was all set!

The Rescue by T. Jefferson Parker
Smile Beach Murder  (Outer Banks Bookshop Mystery #1) by Alicia Bessette
The Beach Escape by Rachel Magee
The Inn at Summer Island by Rachel Magee
Mimi Lee Cracks the Code (Sassy Cat Mystery #1) by Jennifer J. Chow
Lovely You Are by Sean Cribbin (Advance Reader copy)

Tina’s Reading List

Carol’s Reading List

While I’m waiting to get the last Inspector Banks mystery from my library, I’m diving back into the Maisie Dobbs books. If you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend it—and start with #1 so you don’t miss anything. I like each book more than the last. And it allows me to “spend time in England” since I won’t be going back for a while yet.
